Another way to support our scholarship fundraising is to donate wreaths to Wreaths Across America, using the Local Sponsorship code “MO0007P” – Missouri Society of Mayflower Descendants.
Wreaths sponsored by using this code are placed each December at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. For every wreath sold using our code, we receive $5 which is used for our scholarship fund. You may purchase wreaths all year long – you don’t need to wait until the fall.
For more information about Wreaths Across America, visit the website. To sponsor wreaths through the Missouri Society of Mayflower Descendants:
- Go to the Wreaths Across America website. Click the “Local Sponsorship Group” link under the “Volunteer” button at mid-page.
- Choose the number of wreaths you wish to sponsor.
- In the “Select Group to Support” box, enter MO0007P (M – oh – zero – zero – zero – 7 – P). The group’s name – Missouri Society of Mayflower Descendants – will appear – click on the name.
- Choose the cemetery where you wish your wreaths to be placed. The default cemetery, “Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery,” will be listed. If you would prefer another cemetery, click on the down arrow to search for that cemetery. (NOTE: not all cemeteries participate in Wreaths Across America.)
- Click on the “Review My Sponsorships” button and follow the instructions to check out.
